📕living her life to the fullest

Today was freezing cold.

Normally, I go straight home after work, but today I met up with a friend I've known since high school.

I'm really happy that we've had such a strong connection for over 10 years.

She’s the most energetic and always up for a challenge.

To be honest, I haven’t had enough time lately because of my studies,

so I’ve kept postponing our get-togethers.

It’s been a year since I last saw her, and during that time, she’s lived such an eventful life.

We talked about more than just our high school days; we also discussed what we see ourselves doing in 10 years.

She told me she’s willing to put her career on hold to focus on her kids (she wants to have 4!).

She’s also thinking about becoming a freelancer, even though she already makes a six-figure salary.

I shared my plans after passing the AICPA exam.

I have a lot of options — I could move to another company, work for an accounting firm, or even switch from FP&A to an internal accounting role.

It's crazy to think that I’m still figuring out my career, even at 30.

I’m so grateful to have a friend like her, someone who’s living her life to the fullest.

Even though we only hung out for four hours, I feel like we’ll keep meeting up for a long time to come.
